Question Title How do I disable the shopping cart functionality for my whole website?
ShopFactory adds the shopping cart functionality by default to all your products. If you wish to create an online catalog only, you will need to disable this functionality shop wide.
 
Please follow the steps below, to achieve this:
 
1. In ShopFactory, click on Settings in the top toolbar.
2. In the drop-down menu, select Global Settings. This will open the Global Settings dialog.
3. In the tree menu, click on MISCELLANEOUS under ‘Settings for this Website’.
4. In the upper part of the dialog, you will find a check box titled ‘Don’t allow buying’. Click on the empty box next to it to select the box.
5. Click OK and the shopping cart functionality will now be removed from your website.
 
If you want to apply this for all websites created in the future, select New Website in the tree menu and follow the same process. All new shops created will be online catalogs rather than shops.
